Who we are

OrbData Technologies ("we", "us") builds custom data systems for businesses. You can reach us at .

What we collect

• Information you give us. When you book a call or send a message, we receive the name, email, company, phone number and details you enter in the form. That's it.
• Usage data, only if you allow it. If you accept analytics, we record which pages are viewed, roughly how long, and where a visit came from, under a random visitor code. It contains no name, email or phone number and never follows you to other websites. If you choose "Essential only", none of this is recorded.
• Questions you type to Orbie. Messages in the chat assistant are sent to Google's Gemini service to write a reply. Please don't type personal or confidential details into the chat; use the contact form or booking page instead.
• Client project data. During an engagement we may process data you provide so we can build your system. This is covered by a separate agreement and, where sensitive, an NDA signed before we receive anything.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry, run the call you booked, prepare a proposal, and deliver work you've engaged us for. We also look at aggregate site usage to understand which pages are useful. We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run this site, each only for the job described: a form-delivery service that passes your message to our inbox, Google Sheets and Apps Script in our own Google account to keep bookings and enquiries, Google Gemini to answer chat questions, and Netlify to host the site. We do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone, ever. We disclose information only where legally required.

How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is kept while it's commercially relevant and deleted on request. Client project data is retained for the duration of the engagement and handed back or deleted at its conclusion, as you prefer.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, correct or update it, erase it, or withdraw the consent you gave, and you can nominate someone to exercise these rights for you. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it: one email is enough, no forms. If you are elsewhere and have statutory data rights (GDPR, CCPA and similar), we honour those too.

Grievances

Our grievance contact is Shubh, the founder, at . We acknowledge every request within 7 days and aim to resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can take the matter to the Data Protection Board of India.

Analytics and cookies

This site sets no advertising or third-party tracking cookies and loads no ad or social trackers. Fonts are served from our own domain.

Always on (essential). Your colour theme, a half-finished booking and any message that is waiting to resend are kept in your browser's local storage so the site works as you expect. Nothing here identifies you.

Only with your OK (analytics). If you choose "Accept analytics" in the banner, we count page views, clicks on buttons and how far a page was scrolled, using a random visitor code. These counts are stored in your browser and in a private Google Sheet owned by OrbData Technologies. They are never sold or shared. If you choose "Essential only", none of this is recorded.

You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer of every page, or remove everything by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Security

We apply least-privilege access to any client data we handle, work with anonymised or sampled data wherever technically possible, and build audit trails into the systems we deliver. No system is perfectly secure, and we'll tell you promptly and honestly if anything ever goes wrong.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we'll update the date at the top of this page.
